However, please note that the tested machine category is not recommended for end-users as it may not ensure problem-free operation. The testing provides feedback on whether the vending machines are capable of basic functionality. Without refurbishment, a tested machine may not be suitable for problem-free operation.
For Coffee Vending Machines, the following aspects are checked during testing:
- Functionality of panels
- Operation of the water system
- Functionality of the boiler heating system
- Operation of the grinder/brewing unit/instant system
- Operation of cup and stirrer dispenser (if applicable)
- Legibility of the display
- Functionality of push buttons
- Operation of mixer and powder dispenser motors
- Coin validator connection check
- Replacement/repair of non-functioning components
The following aspects are NOT part of the testing:
- Descaling (removal of limescale)
- Replacement of gaskets
- Replacement of microswitches
- Refurbishment/replacement of rotating/wearing and other components
- Machine settings
- Gramming/product assignment
- Software modifications
- Product labeling
For Snack Vending Machines and other types of vending machines, the following aspects are checked during testing:
- Functionality of panels
- Cooling system check
- Spiral motor check for snack machines
- Check of serving functions for other machine types
- Legibility of the display
- Functionality of push buttons
- Coin validator connection check
- Replacement/repair of non-functioning components
The following aspects are NOT part of the testing:
- Replacement of microswitches
- Refurbishment of the cooling unit
- Refurbishment/replacement of rotating/wearing and other components
- Machine/product settings
- Software modifications
- Product labeling
